YAHOO GROUP EMAIL - If you are not receiving any email from our team's Yahoo Group Email system, then you should contact either Bridget Pitlock (bridgetpitlock@yahoo.com) or Marianne Ross (mrossmym@comcast.net). Our team uses this email system to communicate "Short Notice" practice changes or cancellations, as well as other important informational updates. It is also suggested that everyone check their email daily, particularly just before leaving for practice, to ensure that no practice changes have been communicated for that day. As of this web posting (10/10/08 @ 9:30 AM), the most recent "TEAM" emails were sent on Wednesday, Oct 8th and Thursday, Oct. 9th. 36TH ANNUAL MARLIN MEET - If you missed the Oct 7th deadline and still wish to enter into this meet, please contact Mark Victor via email at entries@macombmarlins.com. The primary goal of this meet is to show the new swimmers and parents the organizational and operational structure of a swim meet. It also helps your awareness as to why we need volunteers for our meets.... and how it takes a TEAM, the entire Marlin FAMILY, to run a successful meet. For those of you that have signed up for donations to our concessions area for the Marlin Meet, please be sure to bring your items to the concession area prior to the start of the meet this Saturday (12:15 PM). Concessions will be setup in the pool lobby area. Head Committee person for Concessions is Kathleen Gray. If a checklist is available, please be sure to check off that your donation was received. What an exciting meet!!.... And Marlin swimmers finished in the Top 3 in EVERY event!! For anyone that is not familiar with this meet, it is the High School County Championship Meet that is held every year. The boy's meet will be held in the first week of February 2009. FREE Swim Trial Period!! NEW SWIMMERS.... if you missed our FREE swim trial period (which ended on Friday, September 26th), special arrangements can still be made for swimmers to obtain a 3 day trial period. There are no obligations during any swim trial period. Practice locations will vary depending on a swimmer's ability.
